In addition, the classically trained sibling violin-and-cello duo SistaStrings will be playing at the concert. The event takes place Friday, December 13, at YouTube Theater in Los Angeles.

Hagar’s band currently features ex-Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, rock-guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, and lauded session drummer Kenny Aronoff.

The show is the final performance event Metallica and Hagar have scheduled for 2024.

The Helping Hands Concert & Auction raises funds for Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation. The charity was established in 2017 in an effort to aid communities that have supported Metallica throughout the band’s history. The foundation has raised more than $15 million to date, with funds going toward combating food insecurity, providing natural disaster relief, supporting education, and helping other local services.

Tickets to the sold-out event may still be available at various resale outlets, including StubHub.

Metallica’s Upcoming Touring Plans

Metallica will continue its long-running M72 World Tour in 2025. The metal legends will kick off their itinerary this spring with a North American leg that features 20 confirmed dates.

The trek begins April 19 in Syracuse, New York, and is mapped out through a June 27 and 29 engagement in Denver. Pantera, Limp Bizkit, Suicidal Tendencies, and Ice Nine Kills will join Metallica as support acts on select dates.

As with previous M72 World Tour legs, the 2025 outing will see Metallica playing two-night stands in many cities. These stops will be “No Repeat Weekends,” where the band will showcase almost completely different sets at each of the two shows.

The tour also will feature single-night performances in several cities.

Metallica also has lined up an eight-show Down Under trek in November, running from a November 1 concert in Perth, Australia, through a November 19 show in Auckland, New Zealand.

Sammy Hagar’s 2025 Concert Plans

Hagar has four solo performances scheduled in early 2025, as well as Las Vegas residency with his The Best of All Worlds band.

The Red Rocker’s first show of 2025 will take place January 17 in Scottsdale, Arizona, in conjunction with the Barrett-Jackson collector car auction. Hagar will be joined by Anthony, Aronoff, and his longtime Wabos guitarist Vic Johnson at that event.

His other three pre-residency gigs are scheduled for February 20 at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo in San Antonio, Texas; February 21 at the Lucas Oil Live venue in Thackerville, Oklahoma; and April 27 at the Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, California.

Hagar’s The Best of All Worlds residency will run from April 30 through May 17, 2025. The nine-date engagement will take place at the Dolby Live venue at the Park MGM hotel and casino.

Tickets for Metallica’s tour dates and Hagar’s upcoming concerts are available now via various outlets, including StubHub.
