Billy Joel Announces New 2025 Co-Headlining Concerts with Fellow Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Stevie Nicks and Rod Stewart

Billy Joel’s 2025 tour schedule keeps expanding, and the Piano Man has just added two new shows to his itinerary. Both concerts will feature Joel co-headlining with other famous artists with whom he already has played joint dates.

The first announced concert is a co-headlining show with Stevie Nicks that will take place August 8 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The second gig is a joint performance with Rod Stewart scheduled for July 5 at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.

Tickets for both events will go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 13, at 10 a.m. ET. Citi card members will be able to purchase pre-sale tickets starting this Monday, December 9, at 10 a.m. ET. Fans interested in buying tickets early may want to check StubHub.

About Joel’s Performance History with Nicks

Joel and Nicks already had another co-headlining concert scheduled in 2025, a March 29 show at Ford Field in Detroit. The two Rock & Roll Hall of Famers have already played 11 concerts together since March of 2023.

According to Setlist.fm, Joel joined Nicks at every show to perform her famous Tom Petty duet “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around.” In addition, at their first joint concert, on March 10, 2023, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, Stevie hit the stage during Billy’s set to sing his 1990 hit ballad “And So It Goes” with him.

Nicks’ upcoming concerts with Joel are the Fleetwood Mac legend’s only confirmed shows of 2025.

About Joel’s Concert History with Stewart

Joel previously played one other joint show with Stewart, which took place on September 13, 2024, at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland. At that concert, Stewart teamed up with Joel during Billy’s set to perform the Faces classic “Stay with Me.”

Joel has 11 other confirmed upcoming concerts lined up.

His next performance is a New Year’s Eve show, December 31, in Elmont, New York. Joel’s first 2025 concert is a January 17 headlining performance in Hollywood, Florida. He also has five upcoming joint dates with Sting. They’re scheduled for February 8 in Indianapolis; April 11 in Syracuse, New York; April 26 in Milwaukee; May 10 in Charlotte, North Carolina; and May 23 in Salt Lake City.

In addition, the Piano Man has headlining concerts scheduled for February 22 in Uncasville, Connecticut, and March 15 in Toronto.

Rounding out his current itinerary are a pair of 2025 U.K. headlining concerts in the U.K. They’re scheduled for June 7 in Edinburgh, Scotland, and June 21 in Liverpool, England.

Stewart’s Other Upcoming Performance Plans

Stewart has dozens of concerts lined up in the coming year.

His 2024 tour itinerary will wind down with two shows in Europe. They’re scheduled for December 15 in Coruna, Spain, and December 18 in Herning, Denmark.

Rod will kick off 2025 with six U.S. headlining gigs, beginning with a February 22 show in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

In addition, Stewart also has a pair of six-show Las Vegas residency engagements scheduled at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. They run from March 12 to March 22, and from May 29 to June 8.

In between his Las Vegas stands, Rod will play a series of 10 European concerts in April and May.

Following two concerts in California in mid-June, Stewart will head to the U.K. for a June 25 performance at the famed Glastonbury Festival.

His July 5 joint concert with Joel in Pittsburgh will mark the start of a North American summer tour that’s mapped out through an August 15 show in Maryland Heights, Missouri.
