As the NFL season approaches its biggest weekend, each Sunday becomes more crucial for each team. Well, for the ones still in playoff contention that is. That being so, Americans and football fans are chomping at the bit to see if their team will play Super Bowl Sunday. Your team’s Super Bowl appearance is not guaranteed, however, what is guaranteed is Post Malone’s Bud Light Backyard concert on Super Bowl weekend.

Malone will take the stage Friday, February 7 at The Filmore in New Orleans two days before kick-off. The Bud Light Backyard concert is a staple in the beer company’s event catalog and has been put on for numerous years. It’s an intimate and low-capacity show that is free for anyone who wishes to attend. It’s not the Super Bowl 59 Halftime Show, but it surely will not disappoint.
The NFL & Post Malone Love Their Bud Light
Given that Bud Light is the official beer of the NFL and Post Malone is a brand partner, this collaboration is a no-brainer. Furthermore, last year’s Las Vegas Bud Light Backyard concert featured Leon Bridges and Zach Bryan. So, it is no surprise that they are featuring another country artist as this year’s main act.
Malone has been a Bud Light customer and brand partner for quite some time. Matter of fact, when Bud Light suffered major losses due to their progressive ad campaign, Malone acknowledged his steadfast relationship with the product and company. He stated after his Night in Nashville concert, “Bud Light has rocked with me for a while now” and “I really can’t thank them enough for all the love and support they’ve shown through the years.” All in all, Malone is the perfect candidate for this performance.
Bud Light’s Announcement
The Senior Vice President of Marketing, Todd Allen, wrote and released an official statement on the matter. Allen wrote, “There’s magic any time you put Bud Light and Post Malone together, but add Super Bowl and New Orleans to the mix, and you know you’re in for an absolutely unforgettable experience.”
“We can’t wait to continue our Bud Light Backyard in epic fashion, bringing fans 21-plus together during Super Bowl weekend for a night of great music, cold beers and truly memorable moments alongside Post Malone,” he concluded.
The 2,000-seat venue will only be open to folks over the age of 21. To get tickets direct message or comment #PostyBLBackyard and #Sweepstakes on Bud Light’s social media posts.
