‘American Idol’ Star Jack Blocker Does Tyler Childers Proud With This Incredible Cover: “Shoulda Won My Dude”

Jack Blocker certainly left his mark on American Idol viewers. Initially dismissed by judges Katy Perry and Lionel Richie for his unusual facial expressions, judge Luke Bryan rallied the crew to send Blocker to Hollywood. The 26-year-old graphic artist from Dallas, Texas made the most of his second life on Idol, blazing a trail to finale night before ultimately finishing third behind season 22 winner Abi Carter and runner-up Will Moseley. Heartened by that strong showing, Blocker continues to pursue a career in music. And for the second time this year, the singer-songwriter has delivered a flawless Tyler Childers cover that has fans rethinking the Idol results.
