As families gathered together for Thanksgiving, The Big Valley Jamboree looked ahead to their upcoming music festival. Kicking off during the 1990s, the festival hosted many talented stars over the years like Tim McGraw, Brady Paisley, Gary Allen, Reba McEntire, and even Kevin Costner. But for the upcoming festival, organizers decided to pull out all the stops as they announced that both Blake Shelton and Jason Aldean would be headlining. And given the festival’s love for country music, Aldean and Shelton won’t be the only singers to take the stage.

Scheduled to take place between July 31 and August 3, 2025, the festival went ahead and announced their two main headliners. But again, the festival promoted more than just Shelton and Aldean. Joining them at the Big Valley Jamboree will be Bailey Zimmerman, Clint Black, Nate Smith, Ashley McBryde, and even Drew Baldridge.

Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, And Bailey Zimmerman On The Same Stage
Sharing his excitement, Country Thunder CEO Troy Vollhoffer said in a press release, “As we head into the 32nd year of the festival, we’re proud to be bringing globally recognized talent to our loyal fans in Camrose.” He continued, “BVJ is one of Canada’s most historic music festivals, and we are honoured to bring it to life each year. Country music fans deserve the best, and we truly feel that we have delivered just that for this year’s festival.”
Looking at the history of the festival, it seemed that Shelton performed there four times. As for Aldean, he performed at the festival three times, with his last happening back in 2017. Just last year, Zimmerman landed on the BVJ but not as a headliner. Marking his return to the festival, the organizers promised, “a night of classic honky-tonk, featuring Shelton’s massive hits and personality.”
In 2024, the BVJ welcomed Keith Urban to the stage. But sadly, the performance never happened due to a thunderstorm. Not wanting to risk the safety of the guests or performers, the organizers canceled the performance. With tickets on sale now for the event, fans are looking to spend $275 for a three-day general admission pass.
