Still, it’s hard not to eagerly anticipate what’s ahead after watching how genuinely excited Jelly Roll seems to be for the next phase of his career.

Jelly Roll’s Career Announcement Is Exciting But A Bit Sad

During an early November 2024 appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Jelly Roll revealed that he will not be headlining a tour in 2025. This will be the first time the performer hasn’t embarked on a headliner tour since 2020. Although he’s been staying consistent in his touring schedule in recent years, this isn’t the first time Jelly Roll has taken a hiatus from the road. Before 2020, he hadn’t done a headlining tour since 2012.

While Jelly Roll didn’t clarify when he would start touring again, it’s clear that he has no plans of slowing down just because he’s not going on the road. He said he planned on performing at several festivals in 2025 and added, “I think I’m going to get into a little television, maybe.” Jelly Roll couldn’t specify what exactly he had in store for TV viewers but said, “I got a couple cookers in there, man. Jelly Roll will do some talking, man, instead of just singing.”

Still, he has plenty of singing left to do this year. His “Beautifully Broken” tour continues through the end of the month. He’ll travel through the Midwest in mid-November, hitting stops in southern Indiana, Nebraska, and Oklahoma before heading down south through Texas, Alabama, South Carolina, and Florida. Jelly Roll ends his tour with a hometown show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 26.

The prolific performer already has several festival stops planned for 2025, including the Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Stagecoach in Indio, California, and the Carolina Country Music Festival in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
