Zach Bryan’s career is on fire. The “Something in the Orange” singer recently added a second BST Hyde Park show after tickets for his debut at the iconic venue sold out in record time. In the meantime, Bryan has been whetting his social media following’s appetites as they anxiously await his next album. This time (Sunday, Nov. 3), the Grammy-winning artist is teasing another heartbreak ballad—this time with a special guest.

Who Is Singing With Zach Bryan?
A couple weeks ago, Zach Bryan hopped onto social media to confirm his split from Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia. The two went public with their relationship in July 2023.
In an Instagram story, the “Pink Skies” hitmaker admitted to having “an incredibly hard year,” struggling with “some pretty severe things.” Now, he is apparently processing all the heavy emotions that have surfaced in 2024. After teasing two unreleased songs on social media in the past week, the ACM Award winner shared another on Sunday (Nov. 3.)
Bryan offered no explanation other than “motorbreath,” which is presumably the song’s title. A second, haunting voice joins in as he sings, There’s ghosts in the windows and walls / I waited by the telephone all f—in’ night / For someone that ain’t ever gonna call.

“guys i need this now,” one Reddit user wrote.
Immediately, social media began speculating on the identity of Bryan’s duet partner. However, the “Revival” singer tagged the musical artist Grumpy in his Instagram post. Grumpy is a project led by Heaven Schmitt, who was originally based in Nashville and studied songwriting at Belmont University.
Are We Getting a New Album?
When Zach Bryan took to social media to share what sounds very much like another breakup track, one X/Twitter user asked the question on everyone’s minds. “Is this man teasing an album,” they wrote.

Bryan’s fifth studio album, The Great American Bar Scene, dropped this past July to rave reviews. The Oklahoma-raised artist revealed in an October interview with Bruce Springsteen for Rolling Stone that he has already written 14 songs for a follow-up project.
