We are in the second week of the Battle Rounds on The Voice, and it’s every coach for themself. Last week, we saw Michael Bublé snatch Sloane Simon away from Gwen Stefani after an impressive Billie Eilish cover. Bublé, Stefani, Reba McEntire, and Snoop Dogg are feeling the heat as they work to whittle down their teams ahead of the Knockouts. And this week, one former champion’s loss was another champ’s gain.

‘The Voice’ Viewers Go Crazy For Team Reba Battle
Monday’s (Oct. 28) episode of The Voice saw Deon Jones and Danny Joseph squaring off for Team Reba. The “Fancy” singer selected the James Brown classic “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” for their Battle.
“”This is a four-chair versus a one-chair, but they’re goin’ toe-to-toe,” Reba said.
Both artists bared their hearts and souls onstage, leaving Reba staring down a tough decision. “Deon was preaching. Danny brought it every moment. They both represented,” gushed one X/Twitter user.
Deon Jones vs Danny Joseph came in with so much intensity that wasn't quite match by Deon, who was presenting the lyrics but took him a minute to get into it. Deon was preaching. Danny brought it every moment. They both represented. #TheVoice #VoiceBattles

A Last-Minute Surprise
Unfortunately, it’s The Voice, which means only one artist can advance. Although praising them both, Reba ultimately had to go with Danny Joseph.
“The reason I like Danny so much is he’s different, and that just stands out to me,” she said of the British-Texan singer.
Sadly, that meant the end of the road for Jones—or so he thought. The Mississippi-born artist was giving Reba a goodbye hug when Gwen Stefani smashed her Steal button. Thanks to the former No Doubt frontwoman, Jones’ dreams of winning The Voice are still very much alive.

“I had to steal Deon,” Stefani said. “I couldn’t let him go home. It seems like he could do almost anything with his voice.”
