Snoop Dogg Is Primed for a Steal
It’s the battle of the four-chair turns tonight (Monday, Oct. 28) on The Voice. And Team Gwen’s Austyns Stancil and Jose Luis can’t miss with this incredible performance of Sam Smith’s “Lay Me Down.”
Both artists’ vocals were so smooth they practically glided through the air. “Go on, get you some!’ exclaimed Snoop.
One YouTube user went so far as to declare the performance “one of the best battles I’ve ever seen.”
“They feed right into each other’s energy,” they wrote. “Would love to see them both go forward!”

Reba pronounced both artists “incredible. “Everything was just so polished and perfect. It’s like you guys have been singing forever together,” gushed the “Fancy” singer.
“Gwen, that’s gonna be hard,” she added. “I’m gonna abstain, because I love both of you.”
Next, Snoop remarked that the performance had stirred up the now-famed “gangster holy ghost.”
“I’m happy for both of you,” said the “Gin and Juice” rapper. “And I know that whichever one of you don’t make it, I’ll be taking you.”
Whose Journey Will Continue Tonight on ‘The Voice?’
Snoop Dogg has made it clear that he’s ready to use his Steal on the loser of this particular Battle. However, first Gwen Stefani must decide the winner.
“The fact that you both picked me, you made me look so good right now,” said the “Hollaback Girl” singer.
“It’s impossible to choose somebody,” she added. “You both could win The Voice.”
Tune into The Voice tonight on NBC at 7 p.m. Eastern to see who Gwen chooses.
