Morgan Wallen Goes Above and Beyond When Meeting 7-Year-Old Fan Battling Lung Disease

Trying to break into the music industry by competing on The Voice, Morgan Wallen watched as the coaches consistently praised his sound. But in the end, it wasn’t enough as he was eliminated. But not letting that stop him, the country singer continued to perform. And just last year, he released his third studio album One Thing at a Time. And to make it even better, he currently helms his One Night at a Time World Tour. Always thrilled to share a night on the stage, Wallen recently took a moment to meet a special 7-year-old girl battling an incurable lung disease called Cure Cystic Fibrosis.

While working alongside the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Wallen got the chance to meet Addison and several of her family members when they traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina to attend his concert. Even before the show started, Addison took part in a small meet and greet with the country star. And she made sure to come dressed in her full country attire that featured cowboy boots, a cowboy hat, and a denim jacket. And wanting to make sure she remembered the moment, Wallen even signed her boots.

Little Girl Shares Priceless Moment With Morgan Wallen

Addison’s mother, Kaitlin, expressed her joy over watching Addison meet Wallen. “Her wish night couldn’t have been more perfect. She made a bracelet for him with her team name on it, ‘Addison’s Army’ and the other side said ‘Cure Cystic Fibrosis,’ which is the lung disease she has. He wore it the entire show and it made her and our whole family cry with happiness that he showed that support for her.” Kaitlin found the moment completely priceless, insisting, “Meeting Morgan couldn’t have gone more perfect. He was so kind and welcoming and gracious. He spent time really getting to know Addison, and her brother too.”

Besides sharing some time together, the entire family moved to a special VIP area that allowed them access to food, drinks, and even popcorn. Posting the experience on Instagram, Kaitlin wrote, “Morgan, thank you for making my little girls wish come true. Thank you for spending time with her and showing her there are good people in this world. Thank you for wearing the bracelet she gave you the entire show.”
