Morgan Wallen Tops Morgan Wallen, Breaking His Own Record for Highest-Grossing Country Tour of All Time

Morgan Wallen has broken his own record for the highest-grossing country tour of all time with his One Night At A Time World Tour. He’s been on this tour since March of last year; the tour was originally scheduled to end in October 2023, but Wallen extended it into 2024 in April. There were 28 additional shows in the U.S. and Europe, which he recently wrapped in Charlotte, North Carolina on October 19.

Before his show in Charlotte, his team presented him with a plaque commemorating the tour. He then addressed the crowd during the set, telling them about the milestone and thanking them. Apparently, he’s played to 3.1 million fans across 87 shows, according to a report from Entertainment Focus. He played a total of 51 stadiums across 10 countries and three continents; a milestone indeed.

“Before I walked out onstage tonight, some of my team had given me a plaque and it said this is the highest-selling country music tour of all time. So thank you guys very much, and Charlotte, North Carolina night two for being part of that,” Wallen told the crowd, per a fan-captured video.

He continued, “This has been a special couple of years for me and the boys, man, this is truly incredible. Thank you for the warm welcome, I already know you guys are  going to be awesome, I can tell from the first two songs.”

Morgan Wallen Breaks His Own Record

Morgan Wallen previously set the record for the highest-grossing country tour last year with the initial run of the One Night At A Time Tour. During last year’s Boxscore period, according to Billboard, Wallen surpassed everyone on the chart with the highest-grossing country tour in Boxscore history.

In 2022, his Boxscore debut, he was one behind Kenny Chesney on that front but moved up in 2023 to No. 1. On the all-genre tour chart, he was No. 11 in 2022 and No. 4 in 2023. With the addition of his extended dates, he’s earned more than $300 million since the start of the tour.

Previously, Garth Brooks held the record for a long time after his 2014 tour with his wife, Trisha Yearwood. That massive 390-show tour earned them $364.3 million. However, it seems Morgan Wallen has taken over as the shiny new country object.
