Last week, Morgan Wallen revealed his new three-day festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The Sand in My Boots Festival will run from May 16 to May 18, 2025. The festival will replace the Hangout Music Festival. More recently, registration to put deposits on tickets and passes opened. Some fans are feeling sticker shock after seeing the prices.

According to the Sand in My Boots Festival website, tickets range in price from $399 to $4,999. The most expensive option covers accommodations for the duration of the festival and more. Additionally, the festival offers a payment plan for passes.
Moran Wallen Fans React Sand In My Boots Prices
After Morgan Wallen announced the stacked lineup for the Sand in My Boots Festival, fans were excited. Then, they saw the prices for tickets and passes. General Admission is $399, Party Pit passes are $899, VIP packages cost $1,699, Super VIP passes are $2,499, and the Livin’ the Dream package is $4,999.
“That’ll be one million dollars per ticket plus your firstborn child,” one commenter joked. “This ruined my day,” another chimed in.
“I bet you all the tickets will be sold out in minutes ‘cause of all the rich white teenage girls who pretend to be country,” one particularly salty commenter decided to add to the conversation.
“Horrible that tickets are so expensive they have to offer payment plans,” one would-be festival attendee noted. “Make tickets affordable for everyone. Love Morgan but not at these prices.”
“It would be awesome if it was affordable to the everyday people who make this genre what it is,” another added.
Sand in My Boots Festival Lineup Is Worth It for Many
Festivals are expensive for several reasons. For one, the artists on the bill have to get paid. Morgan Wallen’s forthcoming festival has a stacked lineup of artists. So, that is likely part of the reason the tickets and passes are so expensive.
While some fans may be upset they’ll be unable to attend the festival, others appear willing to swallow the price for the experience that Wallen’s star-studded lineup will likely bring.
