The Red Clay Strays Announce First-Ever Live Album Recorded During Their Sold-Out Ryman Auditorium Headlining Debut

It has been a big year for The Red Clay Strays. They released their sophomore album Made by These Moments to acclaim from fans and critics alike. Additionally, they won the Emerging Act Award at the 2024 Americana Association Honors & Awards. They’ve also received their first CMA Award nomination. Earlier this year, they played their headline debut at the iconic Ryman Auditorium, a sold-out three-night event. Next month, the band will release a live album recorded during that three-night run.

The Red Clay Strays will be on the road in the United States throughout the next couple of months. However, much like their three-night stand at the Ryman tickets for all of their upcoming shows are sold out. The same is true for their 2025 Canadian tour.

The Family Dynamic Behind Red Clay Strays

Brandon Coleman fronts the Red Clay Strays and his younger brother Matthew is a large part of the band’s sound. While he isn’t a member of the band, he wrote or co-wrote many of the band’s songs. Inspired by the sibling songwriting arrangement of NEEDTOBREATHE, the Coleman brothers have found a balance that benefits everyone.

“Brandon has a passion for performing and singing in front of people. That’s his art. I don’t necessarily have that,” the younger Coleman brother told American Songwriter in an interview. “I have a passion for storytelling and writing. That’s what I really like to do so it really worked out,” he added.
