Some auditions on The Voice have been major let-downs, while others have been nothing short of entertaining, to say the least. And a few auditions through the years have gone viral for being absolutely incredible performances. Let’s look at five examples! There are a ton of incredible Voice auditions out there that went viral at one point or another; we’re just fans of these five particular performances.

1. “Landslide” by Chloe Kohanski
This Fleetwood Mac classic isn’t an easy song to take on. A few Voice auditions through the years have involved ballads or slow, soft songs like “Landslide”, but they are notoriously difficult to perform because of the patience involved in hitting those notes perfectly. Chloe Kohanski made it look like a walk in the park during Season 13 of The Voice. It makes sense why she won!
2. “Dream On” by Amanda Brown
Like “Landslide”, “Dream On” by Aerosmith is no easy song to take on, but for very different reasons. The high notes are extremely hard to hit, and even the best vocalists have cracked while performing it. Amanda Brown, on the other hand, sang it better than most. It’s the kind of cover you just want to hear over and over again.
3. “Hallelujah” by Matthew Schuler
“Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen has been covered more times than we can count, and some might see this song as a “cop-out” song to perform on a reality competition show. However, contestant Matthew Schuler proved that you can cover “Hallelujah” in an incredibly beautiful and unique way.
4. “Helplessly Hoping” by Girl Named Tom
There haven’t been many bands or trios on The Voice, with most contestants opting to take on the competition as individual vocalists. However, Girl Named Tom set the standard for future bands on The Voice. After this stunning cover of “Helplessly Hoping” by Crosby, Stills, and Nash, everybody was ready to hand them the win.
5. “Love On The Brain” by Chris Blue
Rihanna does not play around with her vocals, and quite a few of her biggest hits are far from easy for other vocalists to cover. Chris Blue proved he was an amazing singer from the moment he began singing the pop star’s hit “Love On The Brain”. We’d be bold enough to say that this is probably the best vocal performance in the history of The Voice!
