Sabrina Carpenter Addresses Lip Syncing Accusations With 100% Certainty

When one is at the top, everybody and everything around them is waiting for them to fail. Matter of fact, some might even go so far as to try and make that happen. Sadly, it’s human nature and it’s currently happening to one of 2024’s biggest new acts, Sabrina Carpenter. Fans and or critics are claiming that Carpenter lip-syncs all of her shows.

Many people have gone to TikTok stating, “Does she ever sing live” and “Hate to say it but 30% lip [syncing] 30 per cent backing track 40 per cent singing.” It’s fair to say that knowing Carpenter, those statements are fighting words and are bound to raise a reaction out of her. They did exactly that, as Carpenter and her no b.s. personality took to TikTok for a rebuttal.

Sabrina Carpenter’s Comeback

As we fans have become acclimated to, Carpenter has the best qualities of a type of spitfire. That being so, she doesn’t hold back and did just that in her comments. In response to the accusations, Carpenter wrote, “I sing live every show 100%” and then rhetorically asked, “Would you like to speak to my audio engineers?”

One would think this would shut up the accuser. However, it didn’t as they comically responded with, “I would and tell them to lower the backtrack voice as it’s way too high,” per People.

Carpenter’s Other Outspoken Moments

Recently, Carpenter has been all over the internet due to her outspoken ways and strong beliefs. Firstly, she recently called out Mayor Eric Adams in a show, saying, “What should we talk about… how I got the mayor indicted?” This is of course referencing the Mayor’s recent indictment.

Secondly, Carpenter also came out strongly about the sexuality in her shows. Her openness to the fact came as a result of some fans complaining about her oversexualized persona. Her response was simply, “Don’t come to the show,” per NME.
