Miranda Lambert Reacts to Jon Bon Jovi’s Heroism

The interviewer mentioned that Jon Bon Jovi saved a woman on a bridge in Nashville and asked Miranda Lambert for her reaction. “Really?” Lambert said, seemingly surprised to hear the news. “That sounds like Nashville,” she added.

“That’s what I love about that place. I always say it’s a big enough city with a lot of small-town people and a small-town feel,” she explained. “Nashville, I love that community. That’s where we call home. I always say I’m a T and T girl. Half my heart’s in Texas and the other half is in Tennessee.”

Bon Jovi Saves a Life in Nashville

Jon Bon Jovi was shooting a music video for “The People’s House,” on the John Sigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in downtown Nashville. While working on the clip for his collaboration with The War and Treaty, the rock legend noticed that a woman had climbed over the bridge’s railing. She looked as though she was preparing to throw herself into the Cumberland River below. As a result, he paused production of the music video and carefully approached the woman in hopes of diffusing the situation.

While no one but those who were there know what Bon Jovi said to the woman, he was able to talk her off of the ledge and bring her back to safety. The viral video showed them talking, hugging, and walking away from the scene together.
