The next Super Bowl is still a while away, but some people are already casting their metaphorical votes for the next Halftime performer. Including San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle.

While speaking with Kay Adams of the Up & Adams show, Kittle expressed his support for Jelly Roll to be the next Super Bowl Halftime performer. When asked who he would want to see perform at the next Super Bowl, Kittle was lightning-quick with a response. He said, simply, “Jelly Roll.” The country darling is already launching a tour for his forthcoming album, Beautifully Broken, so slotting a Halftime performance in there could be a no-brainer.
While country stars are often entrusted to perform the national anthem at games and events, a country act hasn’t headlined the Halftime show since Shania Twain in 2003. This past February, Usher took the stage for a show he deemed 30 years in the making. Could next year be Jelly Roll’s big moment?

Jelly Roll Gears Up for New Album Drop, Shares He’s Buying a House in Utah
Beautifully Broken will drop on October 11, with the proceeds from pre-saves on Jelly Roll’s website going toward four different charities. Jelly also made a return to social media to promote the album, after taking a break following instances of bullying, according to his wife.
However, he had more big news than just the album release. While playing a show in Salt Lake City, Utah recently, Jelly Roll revealed to the crowd that he’s buying a house in the state.
“I’ve been all over this place dude,” he began, addressing the crowd. “I’ve been to Park City, I’ve been to Heber, I’ve been to West Valley City, I’ve been to Salt Lake City. I truly could not have asked for a better way to open this tour. I could not have asked for a better crowd tonight Salt Lake City.”
He then added, “I’ve decided I am going to buy a house in Park City. So if y’all see me and sexy wife out, feel free to stop by and say hello.”
The Utah fans were ecstatic. While Jelly Roll has often praised his hometown of Nashville, it’s interesting to see him branching out. Utah will no doubt provide what fans called a “chill” environment for Jelly Roll to continue making music.
