Turning 59 years old on August 28th, Shania Twain looked back on her life in the spotlight. Stepping on stage during the 1980s, the country singer dominated the airwaves with songs like “From This Moment On” and “That Don’t Impress Me Much.” Winning Grammy Awards and landing a spot in the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, Twain was labeled the “Queen of Country Pop.” And while she continues to entertain fans, she recently received a special celebration when she welcomed Boyz II Men to the stage.

Taking the stage for another show during her Las Vegas residency, Twain decided to treat fans to a special performance with Boyz II Men. Together, they performed songs like “You’re Still the One” and “I’ll Make Love to You.” Having set up the surprise, Twain believed they were only going to sing two songs, but the boy band had other plans when they started to sing “Happy Birthday” to Twain.

Fans Wish Shania Twain A “Happy Birthday”
Shocked and thrilled over the special birthday celebration, Twain barely noticed her husband wheeling in a birthday cake behind her. Sharing the moment on her Instagram, the country star wrote, “As a little birthday celebration and surprise for my fans I invited @boyziimen on stage at my Vegas show last night – But what I didn’t anticipate is them, @livenationvegas and @caesarsentertainment surprising me with a cake!! Would you believe I hate being the centre of attention considering my career?!”
Twain also thanked her fans for celebrating her birthday with her. As the post gained thousands of likes, fans wrote, “Last night was AMAZING! so grateful I got to celebrate your birthday with you & of course Boyz II Men.” Another person added, “Love it Shania. I am happy for you. Definitely a good birthday time.”
While gaining more than enough birthday wishes, Twain also took a moment to thank her husband, crew, and Boyz II Men for the unforgettable night. “Thank you to my husband [Frédéric Thiébaud], Boyz II Men, my awesome crew, everyone at [Planet Hollywood] and of course to my beautiful fans for celebrating with me. I’m feeling very loved.”
