With both teams wanting to prove their status as a dominant school, Gossett is ready to soak in the atmosphere as he prepares to perform. While not spending a great deal of time in the music industry, Gossett has wasted no time showcasing the power behind his voice. Already releasing hit songs like “Coal”, the country singer is bound to put on a show for the Texas A&M crowd.
Looking at the comments leading into the performance, fans consistently congratulated him, with one person claiming the singer was “The Goat.” Given the massive fanbase surrounding Texas A&M, Gossett is receiving a warm welcome as his career has already taken him back to where it started.
Dylan Gossett Talks Growing Success
Outside of performing during the kick-off of college football, Gossett also discussed his growing success with Building Our Own Nashville. Recalling the first time he heard fans singing his songs, he said, “I was in Lubbock, Texas, and I was at this place called The Blue Light and I was opening. Many people didn’t know any of the other songs except ‘To Be Free’ – I only had two songs out at the time. I played ‘Coal’ and it was like a room of 300 and like half of them were singing back and it was a really cool experience. And then you have a headline show in London or Dublin and the whole room is screaming it – it’s a great feeling.”
Celebrating each new milestone, Gossett revealed he loved spending time with family and friends. But that wasn’t all. “We’ll maybe have a couple beers backstage and high five and hug and do all that but it’s just a lot of fun. We’re not taking any of it for granted for sure.”
