While headlining the Hinterland Festival in Iowa, Noah Kahan revealed on social media that he’s a huge Chappell Roan fan, joining thousands who discovered the hitmaker this year. Kahan posted a video of himself dancing along to Chappell’s hit “HOT TO GO!” during her set, which has its own choreography.

The TikTok video shows Kahan behind the sound stage, perfectly nailing all the moves to “HOT TO GO!” He added the caption, “I may be headlining but I’m really here for Chappell Roan.” He also captioned the post, “hot to f—ing go” in reference to the song.
“HOT TO GO!” has been one of the songs of the summer this year alongside “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter. Chappell Roan’s debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, dropped last year, but she didn’t achieve her meteoric rise to fame until she played a set at Coachella. Her drag-inspired looks, catchy beats, and relatable lyrics are fueling her popularity so much that she has admitted that she almost can’t keep up.

Noah Kahan is a Huge Fan of Chappell Roan, Had Her On His “Late Night Playlist”
Speaking with Seth Myers of Late Night recently, Noah Kahan shared his Late Night Playlist, where he explained the songs and artists he’s been listening to lately. He included Chappell Roan on that list, of course.
When asked which two artists he’d love to see collaborate, he named Chappell Roan and Lady Gaga. The two are similar in their out-of-the-box looks and incredible vocals, and having them on a stage or a song together would blow fans’ minds. Chappell is almost like Baby Gaga in how they’re similar, although with a more down-home feel. Gaga is like the big city queen, while Chappell is the small-town princess—no doubt they’d have a lot to learn from each other.
Kahan cited their performing styles in his Late Night Playlist, saying “they’re both incredible performers” and he’d love to see them collab. Additionally, Kahan revealed that he’s a huge Pusha T fan and that he plays his music “before every big event in my life.”
