The 33rd annual Lollapalooza takes place in Chicago’s Grant Park this weekend, and if you’re not one of the hundreds of thousands of lucky ticket holders, we have good news for you: you can still watch Lollapalooza 2024 from your living room. (Without the long bathroom lines or record-breaking Midwest heat waves, too.)

Here’s how to watch the four-day festie from home.
Watch Lollapalooza 2024 From Your Living Room
…or bedroom, or back patio, or anywhere else you have access to a laptop or television. The streaming platform Hulu will broadcast footage from Lollapalooza starting at 4:05 CST daily from Thursday, August 1, to Sunday, August 4, 2024. Hulu subscribers can automatically sign into their account to watch the live footage. If you don’t have Hulu, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial to watch the Lollapalooza performances.
Unfortunately, Hulu can’t broadcast every performance happening at this jam-packed festival. But it plans to stream the highlights, including Chappell Roan, Megan Thee Stallion, Hozier, The Killers, and more. You can find a full broadcast schedule on Hulu’s website. Performances will only air in real time, so make sure to plan your grocery runs and bathroom breaks accordingly.
What To Expect From This Year’s Chicago Festival
Lollapalooza attracts hundreds of thousands of fans each year for its eclectic and diverse musical lineups, and this year is certainly no different. Headliners include Megan Thee Stallion and Hozier on Thursday, SZA and Stray Kids on Friday, The Killers and Future x Metro Boomin on Saturday, and Blink 182 and Melanie Martinez on Sunday. (There’s also a bonus Skrillex set on Saturday night.)
The festival also has a wide variety of up-and-coming stars, like Chappell Roan, whose meteoric rise to fame has caused summer festivals to scramble to accommodate her seemingly overnight success. There are also a number of notable Lollapalooza debuts, including some great smaller acts like harmony masters and former classmates Tiny Habits, who we had the pleasure of speaking with earlier this summer.
Icelandic jazz vocalist and cellist Laufey will also grace the Lollapalooza stage as the Chicago Philharmonic marks the first orchestral performance in the annual festival’s 33-year history. Broadway vocalist and Mean Girls star Renée Rap, bassist Blu Detiger, Deftones, Romy, and Vince Staples are among many others slated to perform.
As fun as a four-day festival in downtown Chicago promises to be, you don’t have to miss out on the action just because you couldn’t get the weekend off work for a quick trip to northern Illinois. We’ll be tuning in right alongside you to watch Lollapalooza 2024 from our living rooms, where the view is always spot-on, the drinks are free, and there’s never a line for the (air-conditioned) bathroom. Win, win, win, win.
