Carrie Underwood Extends Historic Las Vegas Residency Into 2025

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, and apparently, so does Carrie Underwood. The country-pop star announced she would be extending her historic concert series, “Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency,” at the Resorts World Theatre into 2025, with new dates added on March 26, 28, and 29, and April 2, 4, and 5.

The first night of Underwood’s “Reflection” residency marked the grand opening of Resorts World Las Vegas on December 1, 2021. Resorts World extended her residency due to popular demand into 2022, and four years later, the tradition is going strong.

Carrie Underwood’s Las Vegas Residency Is Perfectly Timed

Since her American Idol debut in the mid-2000s, Carrie Underwood has delivered countless country and country-pop hits over the years. From sentimental classics like “Jesus, Take the Wheel” to her scorned woman anthem “Before He Cheats,” the superstar has no shortage of iconic tracks to include in her Las Vegas residency. As Underwood explained to Billboard in 2021, her extended stay in Sin City has come at the perfect time in her career.

“I’m at a place where we just want to take the best, most exciting parts of my tours and the things we’ve learned in doing them and bring them to Vegas,” Underwood said months before her Resorts World debut. “I’m super excited to have a residency in this brand-new, amazing theater, and the possibilities are endless.”

And indeed, Underwood and her production team have certainly capitalized on those endless possibilities. After Celine Dion’s neurological disease diagnosis forced her to cancel her Resorts World debut, which was originally scheduled the month before Underwood’s, the country singer suddenly found herself leading the charge. She delivered like any Vegas performer should: with pyrotechnics, flashy costumes, a larger-than-life voice, and infectious music.

“Reflection” Is The Ultimate Compilation Of Career Hits

With nine studio albums under her belt, Carrie Underwood has had plenty of experience curating a touring show to a specific record. However, the singer wanted “Reflection: A Las Vegas Residency” to be just that—a reflection of her career as a whole.

“Of course, there are certain hits, like “Jesus, Take the Wheel” and “Before He Cheats,” that everyone has come to hear,” Underwood told Nonstop Life (via Country Now). “We will always include those. When we’re out on tour, though, it’s usually around an album release, so we will play more songs from that particular record. We wanted “Reflection” to be a greatest hits kind of show—as many of the highlights as we can pack in, presented in new and different ways.”

The broad scope of her setlist isn’t the only thing that makes Underwood’s Vegas residency performances so special. “From a production standpoint, we can do something that we can’t necessarily do when we’re packing up all our gear and going from place to place,” the singer told Rolling Stone in 2022.

Tickets for Carrie Underwood’s Las Vegas residency range from just over $50 to $600, depending on seat location and whether you opt for one of several VIP packages. But no matter which ticket attendees choose, it’s clear that they’re in for a show of a lifetime unlike anything Underwood has offered before.
