Riding with two other musicians, Vector traveled to Lesotho to film a music video. But sadly, he never made it. With the accident taking place on Wednesday in South Africa, not only Vector passed but his fellow musicians Lizwi Wokuqala and Puleng Phoofolo. Passing away at 32 years old, his family wrote, “[He] lived all his life in the entertainment industry and brought to us the music that we have come to love so much. His friends and fans will remember him for his limitless love and selflessness.”

Even Vector’s former label, Ambitiouz Entertainment, took a moment to remember the rapper after his passing. The label wrote on Twitter, “With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of a shining beacon, the Lion of Lesotho’s sun has set. Our deepest condolences go out to his loved ones and industry peers during this time of profound loss. Rest In Peace Malome Vector.”
