Flavor Flav is many things. A founding member of hip-hop legends Public Enemy. The most recognizable “hype man” in history. And—a diehard Taylor Swift fan. The six-time GRAMMY winner has spoken openly and enthusiastically of his love for the pop superstar’s work. He even traded friendship bracelets with his “queen” at this year’s GRAMMY Awards ceremony. Flavor Flav attended the “Anti-Hero” singer’s “Eras” Tour stop Tuesday (July 23) in Hamburg, Germany. And he got a special shout-out.

Flavor Flav Posts Taylor Swift Shout-Out to Social Media
Taylor Swift is deep into the European leg of her billion-dollar “Eras” Tour. On Tuesday (July 23), the “Fortnight” singer performed the first of two shows at Volksparkstadion in Hamburg, Germany.
As confetti showered down around her onstage, Swift beamed as she mouthed, “Flavor Flav!” and pointed to the rapper. The proud Swiftie, 65, shared a video clip of the moment to his social media on Tuesday. Flavor Flav (born William Drayton Jr.) borrowed from Swift’s 2022 song “Karma” to express his excitement.
“It’s the guy from Public Enemy also known as KING SWIFTIE Coming straight to Germany to see me,!!!” wrote the “Bring the Noise” rapper. “Shout out back to @taylorswift13 @taylornation13 and her team and family for having me,!!!”
We can’t blame him. What Swiftie wouldn’t want a personal greeting from Swift herself?
“Omg I love this!” wrote one fan on X/Twitter. “And we love you King Swiftie!!”
There is something innately wholesome about one of the world’s most famous rappers showing such unabashed support for a woman in pop music. “Flavor Flav showing his love for Taylor Swift is the only thing I want to see in my feed today,” one X/Twitter user wrote. “Makes me smile everytime!!!”
Flavor Flav Takes Pride in “King Swiftie” Status
Flavor Flav takes his “King Swiftie” status seriously. The Public Enemy member also attended Taylor Swift’s Los Angeles “Eras” Tour show at SoFi Stadium back in August 2023. And upon the April release of her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, Flavor Flav wrote that the album made him “wanna punch anyone that hurt that woman’s feelings.”
