Zach Bryan Charts 17 Songs from ‘The Great American Bar Scene,’ Earns Him Fourth Top 10 Album

Zach Bryan has more reasons to celebrate the release of The Great American Bar Scene. Currently, he has 17 songs from the album in various positions on the Billboard Hot 100. Additionally, the album is sitting pretty at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. He sits below Taylor Swift, who is on her 12th week on the chart.

The Great American Bar Scene debuted on the chart at No. 17, but has since climbed the ladder. It had 137,000 sales this week, the first full sales week since its debut on July 4. However, the album is set to release in physical formats on October 11, so those sales are exclusively from streaming.

Still, this makes the album Bryan’s fourth in the Top 10. American Heartbreak peaked at No. 5 in 2022, Zach Bryan at No. 1 in September 2023, and his EP Boys of Faith at No. 8 in October 2023.

17 of the album’s 19 tracks have charted, along with “I Remember Everything” from his self-titled album. All those listed are debuts, except “Pink Skies,” which sits at No. 12 where it fell from its peak at No. 6 from June, and “I Remember Everything,” which peaked at No. 1 in September but is down at No. 22. Additionally, “Purple Gas” is a reentry on the chart, with a new high at No. 69, according to Billboard.
