4. “Bitch I’m Madonna” (with Nicki Minaj)
“Bitch I’m Madonna” was a powerful moment in the 2015 music circuit. The icon came back in full force, tapping Nicki Minaj for a feature. Part of what allows an artist to stay relevant is their ability to adapt and Madonna has adapted countless times, swaying with the ever-changing pop scene. She rose to the occasion with this Minaj collaboration, proving she is still the reigning Queen of Pop.
3. “Beat Goes On” (with Kanye West)
In the late ’00s, there was no better feature to have on your track than Kanye West—a fact Madonna must have known considering she brought him on for her song “Beat Goes On” in 2008. Madge’s part of the song is reminiscent of her ’80s sonic direction while West’s verse brings it into modernity.
2. Medellín (with Maluma)
Madonna stepped into the reggaeton world with Maluma in 2019. She once again proved she could excel in any musical style with this track, singing softly alongside the Colombian singer’s rhythmic melody. Madonna has never been afraid to step out of her comfort zone—largely because she excels when she does.
1. “Me Against the Music” (with Britney Spears)
Many people called Britney Spears a Madonna wanna-be early on in her career. Madonna didn’t have time for that. She collaborated with Spears a handful of times, putting any drama to bed. One of the best collaborations to come out of their partnership is “Me Against the Music.” The track flexes both singers’ ability to fill a dance floor with insatiable beats and sultry lyricism. When thinking of Madonna collaborations, this is the first one to come to mind. Hence, it has to take the top spot on this list.
