Parton has teamed up with cinema distributor Trafalgar Releasing to create Dolly Parton ROCKSTAR: The Global First Listen Event. The fan-centered parties and screenings will give attendees a chance to hear selections from Parton’s forty-ninth studio album days before its release on November 17.

Along with an early listen to tracks from the record, the unique listening events will offer attendees a chance to view unreleased behind-the-scenes footage, music videos, and an exclusive filmed interview with Parton herself. Fans will also be treated to rare performance footage, including renditions of “9 to 5” and her original holiday song “Circle of Love.”

“I am excited to know that my fans around the world will be able to come together and be the first to hear a sneak peek of my Rockstar album,” Parton shared in a statement. “I am so proud of this music, and I am humbled by all the wonderful artists who joined me. I cannot wait for people to hear it!”

A portion of ticket sales raised from the event will go toward Music Will, a nonprofit organization that helps students access music education in schools.

“We’re on a mission to ensure that all students have access to culturally relevant music education and its lifelong benefits,” Janice Polizzotto, Music Will Interim CEO, shared in a statement. “We’re honored to be part of this event and can’t think of a partner more committed to education and the arts than Dolly.”

Set for release on November 17, Parton’s 30-track album Rockstar marks the pop culture icon’s first full-length project centered in the genre. The LP features an all-star cast of collaborators, including Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Stevie Nicks, Elton John, Peter Frampton, and Joan Jett.

Dolly Parton ROCKSTAR: The Global First Listen Event will arrive in theaters on November 15, with limited encore showings on November 16. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting DollyRockstarEvent.com.
