Fans of Drake have been watching the clock for weeks waiting for the new album. Today, the Toronto-born rapper gave them what they’ve been waiting for. For All the Dogs features 23 tracks and a star-studded list of features. Guest appearances on the record include J. Cole, Lil Yachty, Chief Keef, SZA, and many more.

Originally, Drake planned to drop the album on September 22. However, he decided to push the album back a couple of weeks. This allowed him to balance his touring schedule and recording responsibilities, according to Pitchfork. Surely, fans will agree that For All the Dogs is worth the wait.
Drake didn’t just bring in a roster of stars to feature on his tracks. He also enlisted an army of producers. Bnyx, Boi 1-da, Justin Raisen, Cash Cobain, Southside, and Sadpony served as producers on the record. Additionally, Drake, Oliver El-Khatib, Noel Cadastre, and Noah “40” Shebib executive produced the record. Kevin Durant did A&R. In short, the album is an A-list affair from top to bottom.

The album also features some samples fans are sure to catch. For instance, “Virginia Beach” samples Frank Ocean’s “Wiseman” and “7969 Santa” samples “I Don’t Like” by Chief Keef. Additionally, “All the Parties” interpolates “West End Girls” by Pet Shop Boys.
The Toronto native didn’t just draw on star power to make the album what it is. There’s also a family element to For All the Dogs. Drake’s five-year-old son Adonis Graham was heavily involved as well. He drew the artwork for the album. Additionally, fans can hear the young man rap on “Daylight.” He also starred in the video for the previously released track “8AM in Charlotte.”
