He’ll headline previously announced shows on October 11, 13, 14, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27 and 28. The residency opened in July 2022 and is named after Usher’s 1997 sophomore album, My Way. “I decided to name the residency after that because I just feel renewed, I feel like a new surge of energy and inspiration,” Usher told You Know I Got Soul. “I am shocked and excited about the way people are showing up the way they are and it’s sold out and people are enjoying those older songs…I’m literally pushing my classic records and able to introduce my older fans to the emotions and feelings they had at that time, and maybe even intrigue younger people to check me out and be inspired by what I’m doing and have an experience they may not necessarily have ever had or felt.”

At shows in April 2023, Usher serenaded Kim Kardashian and Kimora Lee Simmons, the latter of whom starred alongside Usher in the video for his 1997 hit, “Nice & Slow.” “It was a lot of fun,” Usher said to Entertainment Tonight about reuniting with Simmons. “It was a reunion for me and Kimora Lee. She was the lead in my first video shot in Paris. It was a surprise to have her there.”
