Hayley Williams is going viral online for her hilarious reaction to accidentally losing her mic while performing. While singing fan favorite song “The Only Exception,” Williams was seen dancing around the stage, and while stepping back, the mic fell over almost hitting the security guards.

Shocked, Williams looked at her bandmate and began to laugh, before quickly falling to the floor and attempting to grab the stand. Unable to find it, she jumped back and began to dance, prompting the audience to sing the song out loud, as she bounced up and down encouraging them.
A few seconds later, Williams was handed the stand and the mic back thanks to the security guards, laughing the situation off.
Paramore is maintaining their tour momentum, extending their support for the This Is Why album with upcoming shows in Fort Worth and Austin, Texas this weekend. The band’s North American tour leg will persist until its grand finale on August 2nd in St. Paul, Minnesota. Following a brief break from touring in the early fall, they are set to conclude the year with a series of performances in Australia scheduled for November.
Earlier this week the band and Taylor Swift announced they were going on tour together, with the band joining her as an opening act.
“Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour,” Swift wrote on Instagram. “And I get to travel the world doing shows with Paramore!! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???”
The recently announced additional shows, totaling 14, will take place in cities that were already part of the tour schedule. Some cities will now have extended stays, ranging from two to six nights. The new dates are scheduled between May and August of 2024.
Before embarking on the European leg of the tour in 2024, Swift, accompanied by opening act Sabrina Carpenter, will perform concerts across Asia, Europe, and Australia following the U.S. and Latin American tour dates. The tour will have a two-month hiatus in December 2023 and January 2024.
