The long-running rock outfit dropped the album’s lead track “Everknown” on Friday (June 23), dedicating the dazzling synth-rock opus to “the humble heroes that don’t get enough credit for the good they have brought to the world.”

“‘Everknown’ is a song inspired by those in our lives that have helped shape us into the people we are today,” the band shared of the song in a statement. Give their new tune a listen below.

In a recent conversation with American Songwriter, NEEDTOBREATHE’s frontman Bear Rinehart gave an exclusive first glimpse inside the band’s upcoming ninth album, one that is expected to harbor some of their best work yet.

“This record is probably the most ambitious record we’ve made in a long time,” Rinehart detailed of the album expected to arrive this fall. The band brought their best songs to the table and worked hard to craft them into larger-than-life productions for a release brimming with anthemic arena-worthy hits.

With the arrival of “Everknown” comes news of a tour. The band has announced the first leg of The CAVES World Tour, which is set to kick off on October 13 in Savannah, Georgia. See a full list of upcoming fall dates below.
