When country stars bring fans up onstage for a duet, anything can happen.

Brad Paisley was in Beverly Hills recently to play at the The Tom Sharek MS Hope Foundation Benefit Concert at the historic Saban Theatre.

An audience member named Becca asked to come up and sing “Whiskey Lullaby” with Brad. That’s his CMA Song of the Year Award-winning hit duet with Alison Krauss, released back in 2004.
And although those are big shoes to fill, Becca more than held her own …
“Can we get three judges’ chairs,” Brad exclaimed.
“This is how you discover someone right here,” he told the attendees.
As Becca launches into the second verse, the crowd goes wild. Someone in the audience can be heard saying “Idol,” as in “American Idol.” She’s certainly good enough to compete there.

One follower commented on Brad’s post, identifying the sweet girl in the grainy video as Becca Maynard, a triplet with two very talented sisters, too! If they sing like their sister, we could have a new trio on our hands, country fans!

One thing is certain: Brad thinks she’s got what it takes to make it in music.
We love Brad’s commitment to raising funds and awareness for such a worthy cause—and his heart for aspiring artists and the next generation of country music.
