Bob Dylan, U2, Bruce Springsteen and R.E.M. are among the artists featured on the the Songs For Japan album, a charity compilation for victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami, which was made available today on iTunes.

Dylan’s “Shelter From The Storm” feels like an appropriate pick for the album, as do John Lennon’s remastered “Imagine” and U2’s “Walk On.” Country, pop and rap are represented on Songs From Japan as well, which features selections from Lady Antebellum, Lady Gaga,  Justin Bieber, Eminem and The Black Eyed Peas.

Proceeds from the album’s sale will benefit the disaster relief efforts of the Japanese Red Cross Society.. Pick up the record here. \
