In an apparent attempt to steal the Grammys’ thunder, Radiohead announced this morning that they will release their eighth studio album this Saturday. Dubbed The King Of Limbs, the album was recorded with longtime producer Nigel Godrich, and is the first release on the band’s new Ticker Tape imprint.

Fans can pre-order the album at radiohead.com, where it will be available in two versions – digital download (in MP3 and WAV format), and a deluxe edition that includes a CD, two 10 inch vinyl records, and exclusive “newspaper format” artwork.

The album will be available in record stores in the US on March 28th, via the XL Recordings label, which also released the band’s previous album, In Rainbows.
