On what will undoubtedly be the most exciting day of their careers, roots music aficionados The Avett Brothers and British folk rockers Mumford & Sons will team with Bob Dylan for a “special salute to acoustic music” at this Sunday’s Grammy Awards. What this special salute may be, we don’t know, but we can guarantee we haven’t been this excited about a Grammy collaboration since the Beatles teamed up with The Rolling Stones. Oh wait, that never happened? Then we haven’t been this excited about the Grammys ever.

Other performers at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards include Arcade Fire, Eminem, Lady Antebellum, Lady Gaga, Miranda Lambert, Muse, Katy Perry, and Barbra Streisand. Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, and Martina McBride will perform in a tribute to Aretha Franklin, and Mick Jagger and Raphael Saadiq will honor Solomon Burke.
