Hot on the heels of the release of Kris Kristofferson’s Please Don’t Tell Me How The Story Ends: The Publishing Demos 1968-72, the bard of “Sunday Morning Coming Down” delivered a pulpit-worthy Sunday set at Bonnaroo, and was even joined onstage by country upstart Jamey Johnson for a few numbers.
Thanks to the folks at Light In The Attic Records, we’re giving away an autographed Kristofferson photo and a first pressing of the super deluxe LP on double 180-gram vinyl, hand-numbered and limited to 2,000 copies. The LP comes packed with a special poster, liner notes, photos, and the lyrics (see photo above).
Record collectors, hit us up at info@americansongwriter.com with your favorite cut on the album by noon on Friday, July 2. We’ll pick a winner on the following Tuesday!

Update: Lisa Robbins of Sunrise, Florida is the contest winnter. She wrote: “The one song that stands out for me is ‘Duvalier’s Dream’…The line that grabs me is ‘betrayed by his own body, and hunger of his soul.’”
