This morning, Chris Stapleton announced that he plans to release new music on May 5. No other details were released, though the date itself is notable as it will mark the two-year anniversary of Stapleton’s breakout release Traveller. That album was American Songwriter’s top album of 2015.

Stapleton also added a number of dates to his “All-American Road Show” tour, which kicks off in March and runs through the end of August. A full list of dates is available below.

In other Stapleton news, the beloved Nashville artist was nominated for three ACM Awards: Song of the Year (“Tennessee Whiskey”), Video of the Year (“Fire Away”), and Male Vocalist of the Year.
