The holidays are a time for giving back, so it’s only proper that Nashville songwriter Lera Lynn would use a holiday song to benefit less fortunate members of her community. A portion of proceeds from digital sales of her new song “Love One Another,” which also has a message that should resonate especially deeply in today’s political climate, will go to Second Harvest Food Bank, a middle Tennessee organization that works with area food banks to feed hungry community members and strives to decrease the region’s food-insecure population.

“Love One Another” is part of Amazon’s “All Is Bright” playlist, which features other holiday tunes from artists like the Heartless Bastards and Houndmouth. Lynn’s song, plus an additional six new tracks from other artists, will be added to the playlist December 2.
“When I wrote the lyrics for ‘Love One Another,’ I was looking for a timeless and universal holiday message, Lynn says. “Now, for America, the message seems more ‘timely.’ To show my love this season, a portion of my proceeds from the song will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, because we’re all in this thing together. Let’s spread the love on thick.”
