Watch Okkervil River’s Will Sheff Play An Astronaut In New Video For “The Industry”

Indie rock outfit Okkervil River has released the second single and video from its forthcoming album Away. The video for “The Industry” features frontman Will Sheff as a lost astronaut navigating an unfamiliar landscape. This release follows the video debut of “Okkervil River R.I.P.,” which showed Sheff in another unlikely role – a singing cadaver.

“I wrote ‘The Industry’ quickly after getting some bad news,” says Sheff of the song, which critiques the music industry from which he felt alienated.
