Newgrass quintet the Infamous Stringdusters have teamed up with Sarah Jarosz to release “Wont Be Long,” a track off their sixth full-length studio album, Ladies & Gentlemen, which drops Feb. 5 via Compass Records.

The track, which features vocals by folk singer-songwriter Sarah Jarosz, pairs the band’s modern bluegrass sound with Jarosz’s warm, folksy vocals. The Stringdusters — Andy Hall, Andy Falco, Jeremy Garrett, Travis Book and Chris Pandolfi — return to their roots on Ladies & Gentlemen, the follow-up to Undercover, an EP that taps into the bands musical influences such as Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd and Johnny Cash.

In addition to Jarosz, the Infamous Stringdusters’ upcoming album features a crop of musical talent including Sara Watkins, Lee Ann Womack, Mary Chapin Carpenter and other dynamic female artists.

“Something unifying carries across the different tracks despite the diversity.  All of the ladies really brought something special, often melodically, to each song,” says Falco. “They took liberties with what we gave them, which is wonderful.  They adapted the material and made it their own, so the finished track was truly a merger of the Stringdusters and each unique collaborator.”

The Infamous Stringdusters will be hitting the road this spring in support of their latest effort. Listen to “Won’t Be Long” and check out their tour dates below.
