Adele - 25

Adele will embark on a North America arena tour in 2016, according to a release.

The tour sees the 27-year-old English singer-songwriter playing 56 shows in five months at venues across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. She will perform multiple times in each city (except for one; sorry Oakland), with six shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden, six at Los Angeles’ Staples Center and four at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre. Most other stops, such as Boston, Philadelphia, Nashville and Mexico City, will host two performances.

These shows will be in addition to the already announced (and sold out) European tour, which will take place in the first half of 2016. Tickets go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. local time.

Adele’s latest album, 25, has already sold more than five million copies in the U.S. since it was released on Nov. 20. It currently holds the spot as the number one album in the country and is one of our favorite albums of 2015.
