MY FAVORITE CONCERT EXPERIENCE: Performing an entire set at The Variety Playhouse (Atlanta GA) in complete blackness with no electricity when a thunderstorm knocked the venue’s power out.

I WROTE THIS SONG: over a course of three years.  It began as a simple melody beat out on a Chinese zither called the Gu zheng.  Lyrically, it is a composite of poetic fragments Greg and myself (Stephen) put together.  Conceptually, it borrows imagery from obscure biblical themes and surrealism.  The overarching impression of the song gives the sense of gaining a new perspective or seeing things in a new light, enabling you to follow a course to its natural end.  “11 miles left to run and I can taste the scent of rain.”
