ARTIST: Lost Element
SONG: Twenty Five
BIRTHDATE: “Twenty Five” was brought to life in October of 2014
HOMETOWN: Houston, TX
CURRENT LOCATION: Houston, TX
AMBITIONS: We aspire to travel the world touching as many people as we can playing the music that we love. We strive to make new friends and leave our mark everywhere that our journey as a band takes us.
TURN-OFFS: We are a pretty laid back group and usually just roll with the punches! If we were to name a few turn offs, they would be: Arrogance, Political conversations, and reality TV
TURN-ONS: High energy crowds at shows, music festivals, harmonies, vintage gear, hole in the wall food joints.
DREAM GIG: Rockin Rio, Austin City Limits Live, Red Rocks, The Grammies
FAVORITE LYRIC: “The ocean is a thousand diamonds strewn across a blue blanket”
“Far from the world of you and I, Where oceans bleed into the sky!”
“Don’t you cry for the lost, Smile for the living, Get what you need and give what you’re given Life’s for the living so live it, Or you’re better of dead”
“Make words of my scattered letters ”
“Did you lose yourself somewhere out there? Did you get to be a star? And don’t it make you sad to know that life is more than who we are”
CRAZIEST PERSON I KNOW: I think we all know someone crazy, but none crazier than the one and only Kenny Conlon! Being Lost Element’s bass player is just one of Kenny’s many ventures in life. The Venezuelan-born 22 year old is also an aspiring child actor, connoisseur of American cheeseburgers, and self proclaimed ladies man. We can only hope that you get the opportunity to meet him.
SONG I WISH I WROTE: Take it easy- The Eagles, With or without you-U2, Leningrad- Billy Joel
5 PEOPLE I’D MOST LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH: We do realize that a couple of these won’t actually be possible, but never the less: Dave Grohl, Jimmy Hendrix, John Bonham, Chris Cornell, Jeff Bridges “The Dude”
MY FAVORITE CONCERT EXPERIENCE: Silverchair live in Austin, Foo Fighters at Life is Beautiful Festival in Las Vegas, Coldplay, U2, Dirty Loops
I WROTE THIS SONG: This song was inspired by the struggle that all people go through to find their identity in life. Everyone has highs and lows, but the important message that this song portrays is to always look forward and “make the most of the hand you were dealt”. If you are true to yourself, then people will appreciate you for who you are!
