If so, you can catch Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder performing live and by his lonesome this summer, as he embarks on his second-ever solo tour. Supporting Vedder will be Liam Finn (son of Crowded House’s Neil Finn), who Eddie handpicked to open for him on last year’s tour promoting the In To The Wild soundtrack. Vedder is also slated to participate in the Pete Seeger birthday celebration atMadison Square Garden on May 3, which will also feature Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, and a host of others.

Vedder makes a guest appearance on the upcoming album by Rolling Stones guitarist Ron wood, More Good News. Pearl Jam are currently hard at work on their 9th studio album with longtime producer Brendan O’Brien. Vedder told Rolling Stone, “at this point, I think we’re willing to let somebody cut the songs up a little bit. In the past, Brendan would say, ‘It’s a great song, but I think you should do it in a different key’, and we’d say no. But now that we’ve heard Bruce [Springsteen] has listened to his suggestions, I think we will too.”
