SONG“How Many Miles”

BIRTHDATE: 4/17/85

HOMETOWN: Conway, AR

CURRENT LOCATION: Nashville, TN

AMBITIONS: I want to write and play music that adds value: to the listener, to myself and to the industry as a whole. If I can do that successfully on the micro/day-to-day level, I can’t help but feel like the accolades and accomplishments will come.

TURN OFFS: Feet. Feet are pretty gross if you think about it, you guys.

TURN ONS: My wife and John Mayer “Continuum” guitar tones.

DREAM GIG: Any show sharing the stage w/ Garth Brooks. My aunt gave me a bootleg tape of “No Fences” when I was 6 and I’ve been a superfan ever since.

FAVORITE LYRIC: This changes all the time. But a strong contender:

“My heart might as well be one of those cans tied to the back of your limousine” – from Charlie Worsham’s “Mississippi In July”

CRAZIEST PERSON I KNOW: His name is Ben Wilson, which is a common name… but if you knew this particular Ben Wilson, you wouldn’t soon forget.

SONG I WISH I WROTE: I wish I wrote “Cruise” all by my$elf. If not that then probably “Oh My Sweet Carolina” by Ryan Adams

5 PEOPLE I’D MOST LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH: Jesus, Hulk Hogan, Garth Brooks, Jakob Dylan, Dave Grohl

FAVORITE CONCERT EXPERIENCE: August 2002 at the Grove at Ole Miss: Robert Randolph and the Family Band in the pouring down rain with my best friends. Epic.
