Video Premiere: Thom Chacon, “American Dream”

“As a songwriter living in the United States today, it was impossible not to write this song,” says folky troubadour Thom Chacon of “American Dream,” the lead track off his new, self-titled album. It’s a bleak, Ghost Of Tom Joad-style meditation on debt with a repeating, catchy refrain. You “owe” it to yourself to listen at least once.
