Plenty of sons of famous country stars are currently carrying the torch for their families. Just as well, a number of famous country star daughters have also made the move to make music and walk in their parents’ footsteps. Let’s look at five country star daughters who are carrying on the family legacy!

1. Ashley Campbell
Ashley Campbell is the daughter of famed country musician Glen Campbell. She’s a talented singer/songwriter with a notably different style from her “Southern Nights” hitmaker father. Her song “Remembering” is a notable (and heartbreaking) tune Campbell wrote about her late father’s battle with Alzheimer’s for the documentary film Glen Campbell…I’ll Be Me.
2. Aubrie Sellers
Aubrie Sellers is the daughter of two powerhouse country singer/songwriters: Lee Ann Womack and Jason Sellers. It’s not very surprising that Sellers made the move to become a musician herself. As of 2024, Sellers has released two studio albums in addition to a collaboration with her mother on Dr. Ralph’s album Ralph Stanley and Friends: A Man Of Constant Sorrow.
3. Holly Williams
Holly Williams is one of many Hank Williams, Jr. children. Despite the legendary status of her father and her many siblings who are all also involved in music, Williams has forged her own path in her respective music career. She has an excellent voice, and her 2013 album The Highway is an impressive piece of work.
4. Allie Colleen
Few know that talented country singer and guitarist Allie Colleen is actually the daughter of famed country music star Garth Brooks. To beat the nepo baby allegations and form her own career without outside influence, Colleen opted to drop her father’s last name; but one can’t deny that she definitely gained his musical talents.

5. Jenny Gill
Vince Gill’s daughter Jenny Gill likely learned quite a bit about music, composition, songwriting, and the ins and outs of the industry from her father. Her debut EP The House Sessions is reminiscent of her father’s signature sound, but Gill managed to modernize her sound and incorporate elements of blues into her music quite well.
6. Miley Cyrus
This wouldn’t be a list of famous country star daughters without mentioning Miley Cyrus. The famous daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus has made a huge name for herself over the last couple of decades. While many consider Billy Ray Cyrus to be more of a one-hit wonder, Miley Cyrus has established herself as a major figure in pop music. And she’s also experimented without country music and even rock music at different points in her career. We think her famous godmother Dolly Parton likely had a hand in inspiring Cyrus from a young age.
