Well I’m back in my Carolina hometown
With a secret I’ve been carrying around
Of how that all star boy somehow
Became the man I am right now
It’s a bombshell
Fare me well

So it’s time for me to own the life I’ve got
Lay my money down and drive it off the lot
Gotta chin up, gotta look strong
It’s time to move this thing along
It’s time to tell

Turns out I don’t love girls and trucks
This is me, bustin’ through that closet door

I accepted long ago that I felt different
But I didn’t want to stand out from the crowd
