Shovels & Rope, Emmylou Harris and Buddy Miller top the list of nominees for the Americana Music Association’s 2013 Honors & Awards, announced earlier today at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.

Buddy Miller and Jim Lauderdale opened the ceremony with a George Jones tribute. Later, Lisa Marie Presley took the stage alongside special guest T Bone Burnett, followed by performances by Elizabeth Cook and The Milk Carton Kids. ASX TV aired the ceremony live and will present and encore presentation tonight at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT.

Other nominees include Dwight Yoakam, the Lumineers, The Milk Carton Kids and John Fullbright, to name a few. Winners will be announced on September 18, 2013 at the Americana Honors & Awards ceremony, held at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. The ceremony, which will air on ASX TV, will kick off this year’s Americana Music Festival, scheduled for September 18-22.
