Watch Thom Chacon Perform “American Dream” At The AS Office

Rootsy singer-songwriter Thom Chacon dropped by the office recently to perform “American Dream,” a plaintive track from his upcoming self-titled album. The Durango, Colorado-based story teller, who moonlights as a trout-fishing instructor when he’s not making music, played the song on his trusty vintage Gibson J-185.

“Before I play ‘American Dream’ I usually ask the crowd not ‘who in here is in debt’ but ‘who in here is not in debt,” Chacon said in a recent interview. “You usually get one guy in the back clapping.”
